As an historic town with architectural regulations on heritage buildings, many properties cannot offer wheelchair access, and very few properties have fully accessible accommodations. The following is a list of criteria for rooms with a view to defining some or all accessibility needs.

Building entrances may not have automatic doors; ramps or elevators where needed; rooms suitable for wheelchairs; may not have hand rails in bathrooms; may not have roll-in or walk-in showers; transfer seats are available on request.
Partially Accessible
Building entrances may not have automatic doors or elevators, but temporary ramps may be available; rooms may not be suitable for wheelchairs; may not have hand rails in bathrooms; may not have walk-in showers or hand rails in bathrooms; transfer seats for tub or shower may be available on request; suitable for athletes with some mobility or those using a walker or cane
