Requirements
- PCOC card for driver
- Harbour License
- Canadian Power Squadron Boat Rescue training would be an asset.
Tasks
Ability to do some quick boat adjustments/repairs on the water.
- Remove weeds from rudder, daggerboard.
- reinsert boom - happens on older Martin16's with Holt-Allen mast/booms, and the sailor releases vang totally, and slams a gybe.
- Jib boom comes off the deck padeye - happens if lock tight was not used on set screw on jib boom. Or jib boom set screw was not in tightly. Or no tape was over the set screw to keep it in place.
- Outhaul comes off. Caused by shackle not being closed properly during rigging.
- Windlass main/jibsheets not even.
